The 3rd annual Philly Cheesesteak & Food Fest, held on Saturday, September 23rd, felt like a mid-summer day down at the ballpark. The fans were out in droves, and the food samples were hot, just like the afternoon temps.

Thousands of guests arrived hungry for cheesesteaks and fun (is that redundant?). From the packed “vendor area” to the field, to the shady cool seats down the third base line, smiles were as abundant as sunshine and carnivorous goodness.

As attendees have come to expect, Original Philly was in the middle of it all. Once again featuring an array of organoleptic cheesesteak appetizers, we also treated Fest-goers with a new Photo Booth where folks waited for their turn to ham it up as the Rocky statue, a “human cheesesteak,” or whatever pose they wanted to strike.

Simply put, people came to celebrate the cheesesteak and have a blast. And they did. From teens to toddlers to too-old-to-say, from foodies to fraternity brothers to Philly’s finest, everyone was in a most festive mood. Our team had a blast serving thousands of egg rolls, spring rolls, and sliders as fast as they could be consumed.

Special thanks to all who participated in our first-ever Scavenger Hunt. Here are just a few of our favorite tweets..

And a shout-out to our friends at JustGrubbin.com for their enthusiasm and kind words.

Can’t wait to see you guys (and everyone) at the 2018 Fest!
